I’m kicking 2014 off with a handful of really great things on the horizon which is always a great way to jump into the 365 days ahead.
At the end of December I was selected as a Stocksy United co-op member. Currently my portfolio has a small selection of my landscape images that will be growing steadily over the coming weeks. I have been working on a number of other styles and directions within my photographic work of late and this will no doubt spill over into my Stocksy portfolio and be available for license.
Being part of such a revolutionary site in the world of stock photography is really exciting, the quality of images on offer pushes this often clichéd world of photography to another level. Have a poke around the site to see what I mean, it’s full of exceptionally inspirational work.
The Miro project is coming along nicely too, as 2013 drew to a close I began to start testing materials in the first mold made from the original sculpt. The first test pours using the roto casting technique have come out better than expected. I should be starting the first proper run in the coming weeks.
I shall post more on the progress of the Miro project soon along with some production shots of the mould making and casting process.
All the best for the new year.
